Hello class! My name is Miss Hall! I am so glad that you are my students this year! I cannot get to wait to get to know all of you and watch you grow and succeed in all that you do! Ok class! Today we are going to be starting an assignment where you can choose to research anywhere in the world you would like to travel to! You will then create an itinerary and a realistic budget that you would need to allow for traveling, hotel stays, and at least 2 activities.
This scene demonstrates usefulness and interest by relating the assignment to their own personal interests while also including real world things like creating an itinerary and having a budget to stick to.
