- This was a time where everything started to rapidly advance. It was right after the war, which was causing many people to live in struggle.

- After World War 1, employment had changed a lot, causing many families to be affected.

- As everything advanced, and consumerism grew due to credit, the stock market gathered investors.
- Well, the ladies at tea time have said that some of their husbands have been using credit to invest into the stock market, would you like to look into that?
- Sure, dear, we could look into that.

- Hello, I would like to take out a loan to invest in the stock market
- Sure, come with me and we can talk about the amounts you need!
- People started to ask for credit to use in the stock market, unknowing of the lack of regulation with these loans

- Due to all the advancements, farmers were provided new technology, which unfortunately over produced many products that were low in demand.

- As the year progressed, the stock market reached its peak prosperity, providing people who invested confidence and peace of mind.
- This is the police! We demand you stop making your way!

- What is happening??
- I can't believe this!
- But in October, the stock market began to crash, lowering the stock prices. This sent investors into a craze, and state of panic, starting the Great Depression.
- But, they were stopped on their way there by law enforcement, and therefore started a riot that caused many people to get injured.

- Life continued, but nothing got better. Many families were living on the dole, or welfare as we know it. Employment was low, which caused many men to leave their families and ride the railway to Ottawa

- So, thats why we haven't invested in stocks.
