- The internet holds a world of endless possibilities. I was introduced to the internet at an early age and that was when digital writing became a part of my life. The biggest impact online writing had on my life was through connecting me with my family members across the globe

- At the age of 10, my cousin Mia moved across the world to Ukraine. I was sad that my best friend and I would not get to spend time together anymore,

- but through the use of the internet, we were able to maintain a close friendship and bond transcending distance. Through this experience, I learned aspects of my online identity that I wouldn't have realized before.
- Scene: 6
- After Mia moved to Ukraine, I felt an ache in my heart. I wanted to talk to her every day, but the distance and the time difference proved to be a massive barrier to our relationship. I was afraid that our friendship would be over.
- hat is when we decided to send each other emails. This is when we stumbled on the potential of online writing.
- Writing emails was the easiest way for us to communicate because we both had computers and we would schedule times to email each other.
