- Mr. Brand...you better not!#160;Whoever was in the thing that came over. I don't think they want us to#160;leave here.
- Rising Action
- Same thing over here. I can't get anybody on the phone either. The phone seemsto be dead.
- We'd better walk downtown.
- Steve, the power's off. I had the soup on the stove and the stove just#160;stopped working.
- Its a quiet day on Maple street there is kids rushing and shouting for ice cream, Steve polishing his car, women gossiping on their lawns, and people watering their yards.
- Climax
- Suddenly a meteor flies past the neighborhood causing everyone to look up and stare at the sky.
- Falling Action
- Look, look I swear to you...it isn't me...but I do know who it is...It's...it's the kid. It's Tommy. He's the one.
- It was Charlie who killed old man Van Horn.
- All of a sudden strange events start happening. The power is out and everyone starts freaking out. Until a teen boy named Tommy thinks he knows what happened to the neighborhood.
- Resolution
- Just stop a few of their machines and radiosand telephones and lawn mowers...throw them into darkness for a few hoursand then you just sit back and watch the pattern.
- Everyone starts accusing each other of the strange activity's going on until it gets so out of hand that one of the neighbors, Pete Van Horn gets shot.
- Everyone starts accusing Charlie after he shoots Pete and his lights turn on in the house. However then Charlie accuses Tommy and everyone starts picking sides and accusing each other and it turns into chaos.
- Get Steve - Get Charlie - They're working together.
- Charlie...Charlie... the lights just went on in yourhouse. Why did the lights just go on?
- Humans are their own enemy's and if you stop a few of their machines it will turn into chaos very quickly. They pick the most dangerous enemy they can find and its themselves.
- By no means. Their world is full of Maple Streets. And we'll go from one to the other and let them destroy themselves.
