1521St Ignatius went on a pilgrimage from Loyola to Monsteratt. He travelled by horse when his leg eventually healed and went inside the place where the statue stands so gracefully. He went overt to the table in front of the statue and placed his sword and armour that he used in battle in front of her. This is a gift that he gave as he prayed for his sins.
1539St Ignatius and his companions decided that they were going to ask Pope Paul the third, whether they could start their own group/society to go out and live like Jesus and the marginalised to help them. This task happened in Rome as they called the Jesuits/The Society of Jesus and they lived out God's word.
