Rising action

Climax 
That's was some good French, Victor
Victor is now a Seventh grader. Living in Frensco, CA and he just arrived to his school for the first day. And Victor can't wait to see Teresa, a girl he likes and trying to impress.
Falling action 
We should study French together.
Throughout the day, Victor was talking to Michael but he was also distracted that he can't wait to see Teresa at his French class. Victor goes to his class and the teacher ask who can speak French. Victor raised his hand to try to impress Teresa but he end speaking gibberish when the teacher ask him to give him an example. Victor felt humiliated in front of Teresa.
Resolution 
Victor ends up leaving at the same time as Teresa and are the last ones to leave the room with their teacher Mr. Bueller. Teresa said she was impressed with victors French and had no idea that he made it all up. Victor waits for Mr. Bueller to corrected Teresa but he didn't.
Theme 
Victor tells Teresa that he just knows a little French from Movies and books. Teresa takes an interest in victor and suggest that they should study French together. 
Victor decides that he like his teacher Mr. Bueller and that Victor is going to like seventh grade and going to be a good year.
The theme for the story is exploring coming of age, crushes and youth.
