Okay, let's calculate your total with the discount. I'll walk you through it.
It takes off 30%.
Okay first you should change the percentage to a decimal.
Okay so I have a coupon for 30% so that as a decimal would give us (0.30).
Now that you got that we move on to multiplying the original price and the decimal.
Okay so $27 for the shrimp pasta ($24) and the sweet tea ($2). That gives us 27 x 0.30= $8.10.
Okay good, now lastly subtract your new number by the total of your bill.
Okay I got $8.10 as the %30 so $27-$8.10= $18.90. Thanks!!
