How can we reimagine Kroger field
What?!
I wonder how Kroger field could be used all year round
One day Alex went to class and got assigned an assignment to reimagine Kroger field to be a space where the community can gather not only for just game days but throughout the week as well in all seasons.

I finially have an idea!
After brainstorming for a while Alex finally got an idea.

AHHH I feel like im going to get hit by a car
Yeah this is not worth walking to
Alexs first game day she hated the boring and unsafe walk to Kroger field. If the walk was more inviting and entertaining she thinks more people would walk from campus and downtown to the game no problem, which would then also reduce traffic congestion and bring more of the community to the games.

I think we should start by building the walkways first.
More vegetation would be nice too!
One day the design team noticed Alex’s big idea and decided to bring her vision to life. They added safer walkways similar to the town branch commons project downtown, with more vegetation and room for pop up festivals throughout the year and space for people to bike, walk, and run. They also added more shops and restaurants along the outside of the stadium to reward people for walking the far distance.

I feel so much safer and relaxed now that we have vegetation and more room to walk to Kroger field.
Yes, it makes the walk seem almost enjoyable. I enjoy being able to stop to shop or get food along the way as well
Because of that Kentucky game days are more exciting and enjoyable. Students love being able to get food that’s really close before and after the game. Residences love the Christmas walks that are held every year and more out of state people are coming to UK football games just to enjoy this unique space and expierence.
