With the population of 200,000 people they needed to find a way to grow food on the water. Soon they had a brilliant idea to make floating gardens called chinampas. This provided fresh source of food, such as vegetables and fruit. This shows that they have skill in architecture because it must’ve taken a while to figure out how to make literal floating gardens.

As a life as an Aztec our day consisted of doing our jobs such as if you are a commoner going out and trading. And what we would usually come to eat was primarily vegetarian mostly consisting of squash, maize, and beans.

The Aztecs were polytheistic and believed that humans needed the gods to survive. The made sacrifices but specifically killing warriors to give the gods that strength.
Some of our legacies that still lives on today is our language some of our symbols, such as the symbol that you will find of the eagle sitting on the cactus on the flag and some of Mexican culture culture
So that’s what the symbol comes from.
