- a young woman born into a poor life with rich friends thinks she was also supposed to live a rich life was invited to a ball her she belived her dresswas not fancy enough for the ball and couldnt go her husband then giving her all the money he had saved up to get a new dress she says she also needed diamonds so shhe asks a friend to borrow some and she ends up loosing them at the ball so she buys her new ones and she spends 10 years repaying it onlyy to find out they were fakes
- she was a very pretty young lady who felt she was wrongfully born into#160; poor family and deserves to be rich and have whatever she wants her husband on the other hand was okay with being not so wealthy he was okay with the life he had
- she gets invited to a ball and needs a dress which her husbands sacrafices his rifle for her to get but thats not good enough she also wants diamonnds so she asks her friend for them and goes to the ball
- she leaves the ball where she then drops the necklae and looses it she doesnt notice this until she gets home and her husband says they have to replace it so they go running around the town looking for the jeweler who made it and finds one for 38,000 franks which they come up with#160;
- she bus the replacment necklace for 38,000 and gives it back having to work off the debt that has put her and her husband in forr the next 10 years
- she sees madam forestier 10 years later after paying off that debt and tellsher what happend and madam forestier tells her oh dear that was a fake necklace#160;
