The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street Theme Dont make assumtions
In The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street by Rod Serling, one of the main Themes is dont make assumptions, on my first slide charlie shoots pete van horn because he thought Pete van horn was the monster. This shows that charlies action of shooting Pete van horn caused people to think that he was the monster. On my second slide Les Goodman was being accused of being the monster because his car turned on by it self, This caused people to get stressed out and to accuse other of being the monster.On my last slide Steve was accused of being the monster since hes been appariently working on a radio set but no one else except him and hiw wife knows what the radio set looks like. This caused people to believe that he has been talking to aliens.Overall these three things support my theme of dont make assumptions because all bad things happened when people got accused.
