The brothers are stating not being around each other after the cutting of their dreads because Jordan gets shamed at school for getting his dreadlock cut and Jordan has nothing to rely anything to do because he usually hangs out with Drew, but this happened because they were arguing about the dreadlocks because Jordan doesn't like being made fun of
Falling action The father in the hospital
Both Drew and Jordan got grounded arguing and Jordan was playing basketball with his dad outside Then all of a sudden the father has a heart attack Jordan runs in the house and teles his mom, that his dad is having an heart attack and the ambulance comes and brings his dad to the hospital and he is in a coma and jordan and drew start calming there mom down and saying its allright and its gona be okay

Resolution: doing stuff without their dad
Jordan and Drew realized that now they have to take care of their mom, and so they started hanging around each other, and they started liking each other. Their state championship is soon, so they have to work together, and the coach said that if they didn't work together, they wouldn't be playing in the game. Drew and Jordan were playing around in practice so the coach could see that they got along. And ever since their dad passed away, they have always been together.
