It starts out with this kid named Stanley and he has this family curse and he got caught running with shoes and got cough now he has to go to camp green lake
climax
Stanley Yelnats the IV has this family curse because of his no good rotten pig stealing great great grandfather that will haunt him for ever
resolution
Staley stole the water truck and he crashed it in a hole and he knew that he was gonna get in a lot of trouble so he got out of the truck and started running in search for Zero and he finds zero and they find gods thumb which broke the 1st curse
denouement
This is where Stanley and zero find the treasure and there are yellow spotted lizards that have popped out of it and they where stuck but they got out because they ate those onions and the yellow spotted lizards did not like onions so it saved them 
Stanley and zero(hector) and his lawyer get in a car and drive them home and before they get into the car it starts to rain because they broke the curses and one of the curses was to find the chest and to climb on gods thumb so there was 2 curses
Stanley goes home and sees Clyde Livingston (sweet feet) and his mom and dad and he finds out that his dad found a way to stop the smell and old shoes and he hands them the treasure and they are all amazed but zero gets half of it cause he helped also and he paid for a investigation to find his mom and they did so now he is with his mom and him and stanley are still friends
