- I'm sorry. Your mother was detained. My friend, Ella, foolishly answered the door thinking it was someone who needed help. she got detained too. I tried doing everything I could to protect her. I'm so sorry.
- As time went on, the quieter it got. The air in the room was so thick I could cut it with a knife. It's obvious to see we were both worried. What was going on? we had no idea. It only made it worse that the Radio wasn't working. We would try again the next day.
- Before I knew it, we had already fallen asleep. Things started falling apart slowly. My mind raced about all the terrible things that could've happened to my family.
- Days passed before my eyes, sleepless nights with no communication to the outside world and too scared to leave this place. But that all changed soon...
