- “It all started so very long ago when Mary was just a regular girl who lived a regular life. She went to Riverside High-school which was the top science school in the City of Miami, location of many palm trees. She was in the Marine Biology program and her favorite thing to study up close was ocean pollution. This problem she couldn't stand… Seeing how there is over 269,000 tons of plastic in the ocean and over 1 million marine animals are killed. One day she was walking across campus going to class when suddenly she was stopped by her best friend Summer.
- Narrator:
- Boo!
- Sorry I couldn't help myself it was too easy.
- Ah! Polly you scared me.
- I know, I am just thinking about the big Chem test that is coming up next week. I heard that we actually have to do an experiment for part of it, do you know if that is true?
- I agree!
- Yea, unfortunately I think so, but on the bright side we have bio next and we are studying Ocean pollution, which realistically you can’t solve on your own.
- Next week rolls around and the big day is finally here. Mary has studied hard for this week's test. And Summer has been studying something too….. But what?
- Yea that spot is good.
- There are some seats in the back where we should sit.
- Shhh! The test is starting.
- II studied all night for the past week, I can’t even remember how much sleep I even got.
- NARRATOR:And the girls were off combining chemicals like there is no tomorrow. But the chemicals were not quite right, oh well guess we will see what happens.The girls were racing against the clock trying to get the experiment right but like any story that takes place in highschool something was off.
- We are starting! Mary and Summer, you will be partners. Let the test begin.
