Julius ceasar

Testo Storyboard

  • In Act 3, Sencne 2 Antony when refering to Caesars will he states "to every Roman Citizen he gives-to every single man-seventy-five silver coins".
  • This shows logos because Antony directly refers to Caesars will, and uses it a 'evidence' to show the citizens how good Caesar was.
  • This shows ethos because Brutus was one of the senators that lead the planning of the murder, and if he really loved Caesar he wouldn’t of lead the effort to kill him and give the final blow.
  • In Act 3, Scene 2 Brutus is giving his speech at Caesars funeral and states, “It’s not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more. Would you prefer that Caesar were living, and we would all one day die as slaves? Or would you prefer that Caesar were dead and we all lived as free men?”
  • As Antony is giving his speech at Caesars funeral he had Caesars will and he states "If the public were to know what was in this will...they would go and kiss dead Caesar's wounds, dip their handkerchiefs in his blood, and even beg for a lock of hair to remember him by".
  • This shows pathos because he is appealing to the audience, that Caesar was such a good man and the citizens should be in morning. And they should be ashamed if they supported Brutus and his actions, without directly saying.
