- Good morning Ms. Luby
- Good morning Ms. Rushmore
- Mom Luby is an old but busy lady who takes care of two kids, Elijah and Pudding. She’s their foster mom. A social worker named Miss Rushmore shows up to check if Mom Luby is doing a good job. The story happens in Mom Luby’s simple home.

- Miss Rushmore shows up with a checklist full of rules that she thinks Mom Luby needs to follow. Mom Luby, on the other hand, is too busy being awesome and taking care of the kids in her own way to care about the checklist. To show Miss Rushmore how things really work, Mom Luby drags her along on her super-busy day. They run errands, Mom Luby runs her speakeasy, helps people in the neighborhood, and does a ton of stuff all at once. Miss Rushmore can’t keep up and is totally wiped out by how much Mom Luby does in one day.
