- Today class, we are going to learn about Georgia and James Oglethorpe.
- As your king (King George 2nd) I understand where your coming from, and I am pleased with your mindset. With that being said, I will allow you to make a new colony, and I will reward you with a charter. Well done.
- I got sentenced to jail until I pay off my debt, which is kind of fair. Though I don't know how i'm supposed to pay it off if I have to pay prison fees and have no way to make money.
- So I believe that if we can find a new place to live, with better chances then the debtors in England can have a fresh start.
- I feel it is unfair that the prisoners have no way to make money, so they can't pay off their debt.
- We are on are way to find a place for a new colony.
- Finally I can live a fair and happy life!!!
- Oh look! There's land. We should call it Savannah since it's near the Savannah river.
