Storinug means information sticks with us meaning the mind is like a sponge. Recall works when we tie information to previously stored facts.
- Integrated and subject-based curriculum are ideal (Kreijkes Greatorex, 2024). Integrated curriculum has not shown negative results. Tying new facts to facts one enjoys facilitates learning.

- You guide children toward what peers admire once they are adults, ergo ensuring they do not "step into the world a fossil" (Parker, 1983, p. 99). Music is part of the human condition. All subjects have inherent value in some way. Learning even that which disinterests us builds character. The most resilient make the most of all they learn. One can't critique something if one doesn't know how to define it. Critique is required for improvement. Dissecting parts of a whole in analysis helps us understand how things work, their meaning, value, and global importance.Art also predated writing. Children first seek to draw prior to speak as soon as they can pick up tools. Their scribbles may be incomprehensible to us yet mean everything to them. They first learn by looking. Make use of curiosity, desire to know, and acuity. This provides the basis for language and other learning (Yenawine, 2019, p. 12). Pictures are tied to text
- We remove pictures once children learn to read to ensure they can do so, yet some are still good. Too much might overstimulate some, we balance for aesthetic harmony for appreciation.
