Aryan Ahmed grew up as a Muslim in Dhaka, Bangladesh, surrounded by bustling markets, close-knit family gatherings, and rich traditions. He was a curious and ambitious young man, always dreaming of exploring the world beyond the city he called home. He was an only child with a single mom. His mom made him study engineering all day including during dinner, which often resulted in him crying. But deep down, he was determined to make a difference in his family’s life.

Aryan was at the airport preparing to leave. His decision to leave came from the economic challenges his family faced. When he received a scholarship to study at a prestigious university in Canada for engineering, it was both a feeling of hope and a daunting challenge. Leaving meant saying goodbye to his mom, but it also meant a chance for a brighter future.
