- Where have you been! Why haven't you been answering your phone?
- Scene 8
- Scene 9 Flashback
- She finishes her hair appointment, does some shopping, gets a few drinks, and comes home that evening. Her husband meets her at the door and is angry and surprised. She has not contacted him all day and ditched work as well, her job even called Peter to ask where she was and he had no idea.
- Scene 9
- Peter asks to talk in the living room and asks Laurie what is going on and if she is okay, this behavior is unlike her and he is worried about her. Laurie explains what has been going on in her head and how she is bored in life.
- Scene 10
- Laurie remembers how it was growing up, her mom got pregnant with her at a young age and spent her time raising her and taking care of their family. Her mom always did all of the cooking and cleaning while her Father got to do whatever he wanted.
- Scene 6
- I want something different! I need a change!
- Where would you like to go MIss?
- SHe tells him how this is not the life that she wanted, she never got to experience the fun life that all of her friends did. She wants to travel and live her life to the fullest now that the kids are away. Peter is not on the same page and says if she is not happy then they should get divorced. Laurie agrees and packs a bag full of her things.
- Laurie grabs her bag and heads out the door, she has very mixed emotions but has an overwhelming sense of freedom. She gets in her car and drive to the one place that will give her what she wants.
- Laurie drives herself to the airport, parks her car, grabs her bag, and makes her way to the ticket counter, The lady at the counter asks her where she wants to go. There was only one clear answer for Laurie,,,,
