Boris is a hungry gorilla who lives in the jungle. Boris finds a banana plant but the problem is that he can only jump 10 ft. Boris knows that the distance between him and the bananas is 23 feet but he doesnt know how high up the bananas are. Knowing that he is looking at them at an angle of 62 degrees he uses math to figure it out. Boris figures out that sin(62) = x/23. That means that23(sin(62)) = x, so x equals approxamatley 20.3.

Boris realizes he cant reach the bananas so he goes to find a new plant. He finds a new plant which is about  30 feet tall and is looking at an angle of 54 degrees. He wants to know how far away he has to run
Boris realizes that plant is too high for him to jump so he finds another tree. While walking Boris finds a plant that he estimates is about 10 feet tall and he looks up at the bananas at a 54 degree angle.  Boris wants to know how far away the plant is. Using trigonometry he finds that tan(54) = 10/x. So x(tan(54))=10, 1.376x=10, and then he finds that the plant is about 7.3 ft away.

Boris runs to get the bananas and starts to eat. He peels and eats the bananas and loves them. He eats all of the bananas and doesnt leave a single scrap behind.

Boris loved the bananas, but he is still hungry.  He finds a banana plant and he can see that the bananas are 23 ft away from his line of sight the tree is 15 ft away from him. But Boris wants to see how high up he is looking to see if the bananas are too high up.

Boris uses the function inverse of cosine to find the angle of elevaton. He realizes that cos inverse(15/23) is the angle of elevation. From there he finds that the angle he is looking up at is 49.3.

Goodnight
Since the angle of elevation isnt very high he knows that the bananas are not too high up and he grabs them. After eating it becomes night time so Boris decides to go to sleep.THE END!
