Actually, THEY have a lot of support. Alex sees a therapist and is a part of non-binary social groups with people who understand and accept them... Not that it's your business.

Actually ma'am, I'm not confused at all. My mom gave me the autonomy to choose who I am without feeling restricted by gender norms. Babies understand the concept of gender by the age of two. I think I'm more than capable.
You sound like a very smart young lady. I hope that society isn't pressuring you to live this way.
With all due respect, gender neutral parenting is allowing Alex to tell me who THEY are. Being non-binary is a spectrum. Alex likes things that boys like, and they also like things that girls like. Alex makes choices for themself with no pressure.
The only pressure I feel is from Karen's like you perpetuating societies gender roles... and its Alex. not young lady.
