- After Mr. Hilton Cubitt left Sherlock and Watson began to try figure out the case, promising the Norfolk squire that they would pay him a visit in a couple of days to shed some light on his case.
- Over the next few days Watson saw Holmes examining the slip of paper that Cubitt left him, which had a copy of the drawings he found on their property. After that, They went to Norfolk to finally take a proper crack at the case. But they were SHOCKED to find out that Mr. Hilton Cubitt was killed, being shot through the heart and his wife suffered a bullet wound through the front of her head, but she managed to survive. And now they have to solve the case...

- This shows the main conflict between the two sides. It demonstrates the external man vs. man conflict of Sherlock and the Cubitt's against this unknown person. With plenty of physical conflict between the sides, like shootings and the eventual aggressive arresting of the man responsible for the drawings and the death of Mr. Cubitt.
