Hatshepsut was the first female pharaoh to rule Ancient Egypt. She ruled from 1473 to 1458 B.C.E. That's only 15 years! This was because back then, Egyptians didn't live for that long. They lived up to about 40 years, or less.
To gain her respect, Hatshepsut said that her dad was a god, she also wore the fake beards pharaohs wore, and even wore men's clothing sometimes!

Hatshepsut is also recognized for her construction of Dayr Al-Bahri. This temple is built into a steep cliff that looms above it and is often regarded as one of the "unrivaled monuments of ancient Egypt." It stands at a height of 97 feet (30 m). The temple's distinctive design is attributed to its chosen site in the valley basin of Dayr Al-Bahri, encircled by towering cliffs.
OH NOOOOOOO!
And somebody better help that dude.

Hatshepsut was known for her stand for trade over war, emphasizing peaceful friendships during her reign. However, the art adorning her temple, Dayr Al-Bahri, shows she led a short and successful army. Uncommon for a woman of her era, she fully adopted the title and power of a pharaoh, often illustrated in male form on sculptures and paintings, to solidify her status as ruler.
