Ibn Battuta was the first Muslim to travel farther than he was supposed to. He promised he would do the last pillar which is the Hajj and visiting the Quba. Ibn Battuta had to leave his family to go so his family gifted him gold, white new clothes, and a horse to travel. Ibn Battuta hugged them all goodbye and finally went on his journey.

While Ibn Battuta was traveling it was really hot, but on the way he got robbed and had to let the donkey go so he could escape but they still got him. They let him go but while he was going he felt really thirsty but didn't have any water so he fainted. Someone saw him and it was the guy that stole from him. He took him to his home and when Ibn Battuta woke up he went outside and sat down with the person who took him in. The person who took him in offers protection to where he was going since he could get robbed even more. Ibn Battuta rejects but after hearing it could get worse he accepts.

When he agrees the person protected him from there. While on the trip to Mecca there was a sand storm. They used their horses to protect themselves and continue the journey. They finally reached Mecca and started to look around and see what there was. The protected left while Ibn Battuta went to travel with the people who were going to travel to the Quba. There was a bunch of people traveling there. Sadly some passed because of the hotness but Ibn Battuta stayed string and kept going. Finally the day came to see the Quba and everyone admired it. He wore his white new clothes and blessed the Quba. When he finally finished the 5th pillar he shaved all his hair for a new start. Ibn Battuta was the first ever Muslim to travel to Mecca and finished the 5th pillar.
