- We need to take a sojourn down to Georgia for a few weeks, don't worry we wont be there for long!
- We will be staying with Aunt Esther!
- It was a long 12 hour drive, so we made many stops along the way.
- When we arrived, we were all happy to see each other!
- I soon got settled into the room I would be staying in for the supposed next few weeks.
- Several weeks pass by and my family and I are still in Georgia for my grandfather.
- One day, I was hanging out in my room, when my mom called me down to talk with her and my brother about something important.
- While my brother, on the other hand was more non-chalant about the situation
- She began to say that as of now, there was no way of transporting my grandfather back up to Pennsylvania anytime soon and we would have to move to Georgia, in order to support him.
- I began to gape in shock of this unhappy news.
- I began to cry knowing I would have to leave my friends, other family members, and where I have lived my entire life. I had hoped that there was some kind of panacea for my emotional pain
- Little did I know this Move to Georgia would actually be for a finite amount of time....
- My mom tried her best to redress the situation using her adroit persuasiveness in trying to convince me that moving here would not be the worst idea
- She was very supportive and amicable of how I was feeling and said that I could cry anytime I needed to without feeling any shame.
- I was later given the news that my grandfather would be able to stay in a facility that would support him and his needs so that we could move back home.
- This news to me was exhilarating, and I couldn't have been happier to go back home!
- We can finally move back home!
