- I have always had a passion for studying whales. Unfortunatley they are becoming endangered more and more by the day.
- Whales are vital to marine life. If it wasnt for the save the whales movement of the 70s no whales would be left.
- Commercial whaling began in the 11th century and has evolved for 200 hundred years. Fortunatley in the 80s commercial whaling was banned
- Due to whaling and killing these important animals. We know we have stopped many other species from being created. we also know that from commerical whaling we have had a major affect on the rate of repopulatiom.
- Whales are even important when they are dead. whale carcasses are one of the largest forms of detritus. This dead walls provide food and nutrients for over 400 different speciees, truly showing their importance.
- The Only way to stop the extinction of whales is to address the modern pressing problems such as the human industries affecting these creatures.
