- So Whats is a bill?A bill is proposal for a new law or a change in a law. Bills are also sometimes requested by the people.

- A member of congress will introduce the bill then it goes to the appropriate committee. This holds representatives of interest groups and public officials.
- Why are we here?
- If a bill doesn't end up being pigeonholed it will continue to the House of Reps and then they make a vote on the bill.

- After the house of Reps vote the bill will transfer to the Senate based on how the house voted.
- Ohhhh so that's what this place is!
- The Senate is less strict and gives more time on the floor to discuss.

- What goes on in here? The voting and debating happens here this is where a bill is attempted to be talked to death. Once the voting is passed it is turned over to the president

- The president has a choice to sign the bill or call a veto. Signing the bill will make it become a law and the Congress have the ability to override a veto with a 2/3 vote
- Then what does the president do with the bill?
