- Whenever I saw that vulture eye of that old man, I felt it would rip me apart!
- Today at work...
- How cruel are those vulture eyes!
- I showed light on those vulture eyes every midnight, waiting for the chance to kill him.
- Finally, the chance had arrived for me to kill the old man and his vicious-looking eye.
- I strangled the old man with a blanket, and yelled, Die! Die! He breathed no more. I placed him inside a loose floorboard, and the days of that vulture-eyed man was no more.
- Just when I thought that the execution of my plan was flawless, I heard a neighbor call the police because they thought they heard the old man's cry. Still, I was confident and invited the policemen into the home.

- I believed that they were mocking me! They had to be! I could not take it any more, and confessed openly, Yes! Yes, I killed him. Pull up the boards and you shall see! I killed him. But why does his heart not stop beating?! Why does it not stop!?”
