After Marco Polo was caught and was sent to jail. There he met Rustichello who was a writer. Him and Marco made a book which talked about his discovers and told have the stuff he saw to the people around the world.

Marco Polo during the 3 year trip to China had traveled through the Silk Road and crossed Persia and India. He traded coins, spices, pearls and clothing with them. He also learned the different culture. Later on in his years he wrote a book that told about his travels.
Marco Polo after 3 years finally made it to China and met Kublai Khan. There he saw all of the things Europe had never seen before.
