The Legend of Cardigan Bay
Centuries ago there was a seaside village called Lower Town, ruled by King Garanhir. In this village the sea was so rough the people of Lower Town had to build a wall to stop their houses from being engoulghed in waves.
One night the king held a party at his castle, but the gate guard (who liked to have the odd few pints) took advantage of The King's party and smuggled bottles of meed out of the party and got himself drunk.
I have an announcement............................I'm hungry!!!!!
That night was extremely stormy and the drunken guard forgot to close the gate for the night!
The water flooded into the town and many houses and were demolished by the watery wrecking ball and the villagers either died or were left starving by the storm.
Among the few survivors were The King and some of his supporters.
However, The King was not king any more because there was no longer a kingdom to rule. So, he was forced to exist as a caveman and was never seen again...
