Today I will be taking about clouds and interesting facts about it
Clouds are formed when the heat of the Sun pulls water vapor up from the ground into the sky. When the warm air rises, it cools, then the water vapor turns into tiny droplets of water or ice. As more and more air cools down, more droplets form, and this will eventually turn into a cloud.
Special clouds are Mammatus clouds which are actually altocumulus, cirrus, cumulonimbus or other types of clouds that have a pouch like shapes hanging out to the bottoms. In these cases, clouds may form or grow as a consequence of certain, often localized generating factors.
Clouds produce precipitation, like rain, snow, hail and sleet. Clouds can hold millions of gallons of water. Clouds can travel at more than 100 mph (160 km/h) with the jet stream. There are 10 common types of clouds you might see in the sky.
In meteorology, a cloud is an aerosol consisting of a visible mass of minute liquid droplets, frozen crystals, or other particles suspended in the atmosphere of a planetary body or similar space. Water or various other chemicals may compose the droplets and crystals.
A cloud is a mass of tiny water drops or ice crystals that floats in the air above Earth. Water on land or in the ocean evaporates, turning from a liquid to a gas called water vapor. The water vapor rises, cools, and then turns back into a liquid, forming tiny droplets. Enough of these droplets make a cloud.
