As school got out I remember what mom said about pulling me out of school If I presented symptoms. I decided to hide this from everyone not just my school
School was hard. I didn't know anyone and most people avoided me. I just got through class and waited for swim team tryouts.
I have always lived in southern Florida with my family. Some days I felt like the only normal one. My Dad and Mom are more obsessed with the environment. My moms always been a climatologist. At least my dads job is more interesting, hunting Burmese pythons in the everglades. Hunts that he never lets me go on mind you. He's currently there right now while we're moving.
At the swim tryouts I did really well. Out competing all other swimmers.
You can join the swim team but if you exhibit anything we're gonna have to pull you from school.
I haven’t presented anything before mom. Unlike addies tail.
We have gone from a house in Florida to an apartment in California. A downgrade in my opinion. At Least I will be able to join the swim team this year. Moms worried however, that I’ll I may present lycanthrope symptoms. What she calls the families reptilian transformations.
