I had such a great conversation with the admin today!
She mentioned that it has been hard to build relationships with others since she joined the team.
I wonder why she felt so comfortable sharing this with me today.

I wonder if she felt comfortable talking to me because we are both women of color of a similar age?
I need to be a neutral party during conversations like this and develop boundaries with the owner/my friend so that I can build trusting relationships with everyone since we will eventually have to talk about more sensitive topics.
The owner recently shared my new internship role with the team. I wonder if she feels like I have the ability to make changes? My friendship with the owner may also play a role.
