- The king had asked Cordelia to change her speech a little but she wasn't able to and gave him nothing more than an expression of love. King Lear told her that she was no longer her daughter. The earl of Kent tried to stop King Lear. King Lear told him if he wanted to stay alive he would have to stop talking.Kent was banished.

- King Lear had reminded Regan that he had given her half of the kingdom but she refused to be moved.The two sisters made fun of their father until Lear left.Gloucestor wanted to go after the king.
- Edmund then captured King Lear and Cordelia.But it was too late,within minutes Lear was carrying his dead daughter whom he tried to save.Kent had followed him.When the king reached Albany and Edgar, he fell to the ground.
