Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest planet in our solar system.
Adorned with thousands of beautiful ringlets, Saturn is unique among the planets.
it is not the only Planet to have rings-made of chunks of ice and rock- but none are as spectacular or as complicated as satur.Like fellow giant Jupiter,Saturn is a massive ball made mosty by hydrogen and helium
the next Planet after Jupiter is Saturn
next is Uranus,it is the 7th planet from the Sun,and has the third-largest diameter in our solar system. It was the first planet found with the aid of a telescope, also, like the other giant planets, Uranus has a ring system, a magnetosphere, and numerous moons.
it was discovered in 1781 by astronomer William Herschel, although he originally thought it was either a comet or a star.
More than 30 times as far from the Sun as Earth,Neptune is the only planet in our solar system not visible to the naked eye and the first predicted by mathematics before its discovery. In 2011 Neptune completed its first 165-years orbit since its discovery in 1846.
Dark, cold and whipped by supersonic winds ,ice giant Neptune is the eight and most distant planet on our solar system.
also,in our Solar System, it is the fourth-largest planet by diameter, the third-most-massive planet, and the densest giant planet.
the planet after Uranus is Planet Neptune
and that are the 8 Planets in our Solar System according to NASA
hmmmmm, wait Sol...As far as i know, there are 9 Planets in our Solar System, why you didn't include Planet Pluto?
well,Pluto is a dwarf planet in the Kuiper belt, a ring of bodies beyond the orbit of Neptune. In 1930, it was the first object discovered in the Kuiper belt, when it was declared the ninth planet from the Sun.
but,it's much smaller than the other planets,it is smaller than the Earths Moon,so some scientist says,Pluto isnt a planet
All the planets from Mercury to Neptune meet these three criteria (the planet must orbit the sun,the planet gravitational pull must be strong enough that it pulls the object into a spherical shape and lastly the planet must be massive enough to clear its orbit of debris), yet Pluto does not. Although Pluto does orbit the Sun, and it is spherical, Pluto lacks a strong enough gravitational force to clear its orbit of debris.
that's a good question Luna
it's confusing me,why Pluto is no longer planet even though it's in our Solar Sytem?
and that's are the things i know about planets and if you want to know more,do some research to satisfy your confusions answers.
Ok,see you next Saturday Luna!
wow Sol,thanks a lot,i've learned enough but i think i still need to do some research...Im glad that you shared your know about the planets
