- I was the president of the 99's. This was a group of women in aviation that supported one another.

- Amelia Earhart made her first solo flight in 1921 and set many records as a female pilot. Amelia Earhart is a reminder to all women that they can do anything they put their minds to.

- I made my own flight suit and it was bright purple.
- Ruth Law was the first woman to wear a military uniform but, wasn't allowed to fly in combat. In 1922, her husband forced her to retire.
