- Pateros river is really dying. It has been contaminated by improperly disposed garbage.
- With the water beginning to get stagnant and motionless, the river seems to become a nesting ground for insects that could later be causes of diseases.
- Most of the facilities like bridges and railings are not in proper condition which makes the river more unsafe.
