The mobility rights include the right to enter, remain in, and leave Canada, the right to move to and take up residence in any province. For example, A nurse moves from Manitoba to British Columbia to start a new job.

The legal rights of the charter include the right to life, liberty, and security of the person, protection against unreasonable search and seizure, rights upon arrest or detention and others. For example, if a person arrested for a crime is informed of their right to speak with a lawyer.
The equality rights include that every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination. For example, a woman is hired for a job instead of being rejected because of her gender.

One of the last major sections of the charter is called the Official Languages of Canada. This means that English and French as the official languages of Canada. People have the right to use either language in federal places and the right to receive government services in either language. For example, a person can access federal government services in both English and French.
