- after the fall of the empire all the land needed new boarders and because of the British they promised the land to both Arabs and Jews. partitioning is when something is divided.
- anti-Semitism is when people are rude/mean to or prejudice against Jews.
- the ottoman empire were a group of powerful people who were claimed as land snatchers. they wanted to gain more land which then in world war 1 they lost and the empire began to crash. this meant that all their land became no longer theirs.
- The holocaust started which killed millions of Jews. the holocaust made many Jews leave their homes and everything they worked and earned
- due to the British promise the Arabs and Jews had big conflicts on who would get the land. this started bigger issues
