- My first time playing football was when I was 11 years old; me and Zay played on the same team. No matter where we were or what we were doing we were always together.

- One day when Zay, Makayla and their parents were over I walked in the kitchen and overheard them talking about something.
- WOAH! Ain't no way they just gone cut your check without a reason.
- I won't be able to pay for football next season. They are cutting my paycheck so I might need to get a second job to.

- I couldn't believe what I had heard mama was willing to ask for help even though she couldn't afford it herself but the thing that stuck out the most was that she would have to work two jobs just to keep the house.

- I don't know how but when ever something was on my mind Zay and Makayla could always tell. It's not really surprising though because If the shoe were on the other foot I would be able to tell if something was up.

- Well mama said she won't be able to pay for football anymore because they cut her paycheck.
- Yea I heard a little of what they were talking about but I thought Ms. Rena was going to help.
- Yea she is but still now my mama has to work 2 jobs. I don't want her to go through all that. I gotta find a way to get money.

- Cuz there was a sign in the grocery store that said they needed more employees.

- I felt a little too easy but we all got a job with the same hours and everything. Sometimes when mama would work extra hours I would also work overtime to get a little extra money.

- At the end of the week for the next 2 years when I got my paycheck I would always put it in the mailbox because mama would check it in the afternoon before she went to work.

- My sophmore year in high school I tried out for football When I found out I didn't have to pay a fee. But I had to do a lot of training to get back to my original level

- My cousin Tay in the process of going to the NFL at one time, he made it all the way to the combine. But he got injured before he could finish.

- So Tay took me toa little restaurant and I told him about the problem mama was having and how I got a job to try and help her out.

- So me and Tay came to a compromise he would send money to us at the end of every week and I could repay him by letting him train me.
