French and Indian War 1754
Stamp Act March 22, 1765
Townshend Acts 1767
It is also called the seven years war that was mainly fought between Britian and France over territory. It lead to the revolution by British governement imposing taxation acts on the 13 colonies. They didnt wanr to follow order started causing violence that which later turned into the revolution.
Boston Tea Party December 16, 1773
The Stamp Act was a forced tax on all paper documents in the colonies. The reason it lead to the revolution was from this act causing struggle and problems within the relationships of the colonies.
Intolerable/Coercive Acts 1774
Townshend Acts was a sequence of percautions that charged tax on all goods that came into the American colonies. It lead to the revolution due to American colonists seeing the Acts as an ill-use of power.
Common Sense January 10, 1776
The Boston Tea Party was a political protest. It lead to the start of the revolution because it is said to be what pushed the Colonists and the British over the edge to engage in war.
These acts were ruthless laws passed to chastise the American colonists for the Boston Tea Party as well as other protests. It added to the animosity already building up that lead to the revolution.
Common Sense was a 47-page brochure that was written by Thomas Paine, advising independence from Great Britian to the individuals in the thirteen colonies. It lead to the revolution because it enjoined the colonies to battle for their independence
