Man, it's too bad that John died...If only inflation was lower, the hospital could have purchased better equipment while saving money. But I guess the high price index values for medical equipment means that no matter where they bought the equipment from, the equipment was going to be expensive.
"A Dead Economy" By Sean Collins
Yeah, but I'm sure that the stress of the medical bills is what REALLY killed him. After all, the inflated medical equipment cost are passed down to the patient, resulting in a high average Consumer Price Index cost for John's medical care.
I guess the hospital was just trying to save money when they bought the bad equipment. They could have done this through second hand purchases of the medical supplies from a seller that is not the producer, or they could have made nonmarket transactions by receiving equipment donations or buying from the black market.
If either of those situations were the case, that sale would not be included in the GDP, which is the formal value of goods and services within a country.
Well, no matter how the machinery was bought, we need to accept that John is dead now, there's nothing we can do.
You know, I feel better now. As long as the economy is happy, I'm happy.
Yeah, we need to stay positive. Just remember, the unemployment rate will go down now that John, that jobless deadbeat, can't look for work any longer without being employed. So in a way, his death helps the economy, at least according to the unemployment rate.
