Choose a visible area in your classroom or hallway. Add a colorful title like “Amazing Tennessee Facts!” to draw attention.
Attach each storyboard to the board using thumbtacks or staples. Organize them by theme, fact type, or let students help decide the layout for ownership.
Encourage each student to briefly explain their favorite Tennessee fact to the class. This builds presentation skills and deepens engagement.
Tennessee offers many fun facts for kids, such as being bordered by eight states (the most in the U.S.), having Graceland (the second most visited house after the White House), and hosting the largest underground lake in the United States at the Lost Sea in Sweetwater.
To create a storyboard about Tennessee, have students choose three interesting facts, write a heading and summary for each, and illustrate them using scenes, characters, or items that represent each fact. Storyboard activities help students organize information visually and creatively.
The Lost Sea in Sweetwater, Tennessee, is listed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest underground lake in the United States. It's a unique natural wonder perfect for classroom discussions about geography and science.
Graceland is the former home of Elvis Presley, located in Memphis, Tennessee. It's famous for being the most visited house in the U.S. after the White House and is a major tourist attraction for music and history enthusiasts.
Some easy facts for grades 3–6 include: Tennessee borders eight states, has a replica Eiffel Tower in Paris, Tennessee, and the tow truck was invented in Chattanooga. These facts are engaging and accessible for young students.
