The stepmother is making Yeh-Shen do all the messy chores while they go out to go see the king.
Falling action
Oh no I'm in big trouble!!!
I think I found my true love...
Yeh-Shen sneaks out when the stepmother isn't home to feed her only friend that is a fish.
Resolution
I'm here to see if you will be my wife.
The king what are you doing here?
Yeh-Shen's only friend turns into golden shoes so she can go see the king.
Do not lose these golden shoes.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
Just as Yeh-Shen was hiding her golden slippers she hears pounding at the door and she freaks out.
The king asks Yeh-Shen to be his wife and they all live happily ever after.
