But…what does he refer to “the Capulets” does he know who my parents hosted this party. Shouldn’t he say my parents or father/mother?

Instead of Romeo and Juliet falling in love at the masked ball hosted by the Capulets, Romeo and Juliet fall in love at a party studio that has been rented by the Capulets.
Instead of the Nurse arriving and telling Juliet that her mother wants to speak with her, Juliet gets a text from the nurse from her cell phone. So then Juliet says goodbye to Romeo. Furthermore, instead of Romeo asking the Nurse who Juliet’s mother is, Romeo finds the Nurse’s and Juliet’s Instagram and finds out that Lady Capulet is Juliet’s mother leaving Romeo devastated.
Instead of Friar Lawrence sending a letter to Romeo, he sends a package to be shipped and given to Romeo but like in the play the Black Plague was around, in this case COVID-19 delays this package and Friar Larry is also quarantined and is unable to receive the package. Romeo than has no information about Juliet’s fake death.
