  • There's something wrong with me and I don't know what it is! weird things are happening to my body!

  • It sounds like your going through puberty, I started going through puberty a few years ago and I'm still going through it. Don't worry it's completely normal, everyone goes through puberty. It means you growing into a man.
  • I am growing hair in weird places, I'm getting angry for no reason at all, I'm getting sweat stains on my clothes, every now and then, my voice goes all weird, I'm starting to smell and I'm getting pimples all over my face.
  • Ok Eddie, but what is puberty and what causes it all?
  • One morning Eddie stumbles across Billy crying in the halls for some reason, and wonders what's wrong.
  • You're growing hair in new places because hormones are telling your body that it is ready to change. Some of the hormones that trigger this new hair growth come from your adrenal glands.

  • Pubic hair is completely normal and you shouldn't worry about it it's caused by all the testosterone going through your body.

  • You might have some emotional changes where you feel random emotions for no reason. This is caused by all the hormones going through your body during puberty.

  • Acne commonly starts during puberty between the ages of 10 and 13 and tends to be worse in people with oily skin. Teenage acne usually lasts for five to 10 years, normally going away during the early 20s. It occurs in both sexes, although teenage boys tend to have the most severe cases.
