  • In this scene, Andrew and Cesario get ready to fight each other. No matter how determined Andrew is, Cesario tells him that he does not want to have a fight right now and wants to leave.
  • Viola goes to look for her brother (Act 3, Scene 4)
  • I hope I can find my brother, Sebastian.
  • In the nick of the moment, Antonio comes in to protect Cesario thinking that he is Sebastian. Antonio even says that he wishes to fight Andrew for Cesario. The palace men recognize Antonio and come to arrest him.
  • When Antonio is about to get arrested, he asks Cesario (thinking he is Sebastian) for the purse he gave Sebastian. Cesario is befuddled and implies that he does not know Antonio. This leads Antonio into thinking that Sebastian is betraying him.
  • When Viola heard Antonio mention Sebastian during their very brief conversation, she has some hope that her brother is in Illyria. So she goes out looking for him.
