- Right now the soccer ball isn't moving which means it is at rest and it will stay at rest until an outside force acts on it.
- (BALL IS STILL ROLLING)
- After the ball is in motion, it won't stop until an outside force is applied.
- Correct again! In this case, the outside force was friction with the grass
- (BALL STOPS)
- This box is empty which means it is easy to push. Which means I don't need that much force to push it.
- But this car however has much more mass than the box, which means we'll need more force to push it.
